He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge Henry Singleton and Vera Marie Simms Singleton; and his brothers, Kenneth and Jimmy Singleton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Bivens; his children, Susan Houston (Terry), Cass Smothers (Tommy) and Hal Singleton (Lisa); and his brother Dickie Singleton.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (309 E Cedar Rock St, Pickens, SC 29671).
