He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Kim McClain Sherman; his children, Chris McClain and Kayla Sexton (Scott); his brothers, Lamar Sherman (Lana), Timothy Sherman (Linda) and David Sherman; and his grandchildren, Sebastian McClain, Devin, Kaden Hutto and Jaedyn Harrison.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Gray Mortuary (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
