It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudette B. Ramsey (Piedmont, South Carolina), born in Lavonia, Georgia, who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband John H. Ramsey, Jr.; her parents, Guy Charles and Myrtie Hunnicutt Burgess; and her siblings, Vernell Burgess and Tommy Burgess.

She is survived by : her son John G. Ramsey (Teresa); her grandchildren, Chad Everett (Hilary), Sabrina Koutsos (Tony), Rachel Rogers (John), Carrie Smith (Tracy) and Helena Finley (Nathan); her great grandchildren, Brody, Gabriel, Areighlyn, Sam, Caynan, Wyatt, Sadie, Sedona and Jackson; and her siblings, Truman Burgess and Janie Smith (Loren).
