Danny Hinson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Danny Hinson of Piedmont, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Pamela Kaye Cooper Hinson; his parents, Ira Boyd "I. B." and Lucile Greene Hinson; and his sisters, Betty Batson and Jeanette Cable.
He is survived by: his children, Katherine "Kelly" Gillespie (Andy) and Daniel Dee Hinson (Sara); his siblings, Paul Hinson, Mary Rogers, Barbara Ferguson (David), Fay Fisher (Larry), Helen Willis (Dennis), Sarah Chambers and Elizabeth Skipper (Harold); his grandchildren, Coty Gillespie, Timmy Hinson (Alyssa), Wesley Gillespie, Mackenzie Hinson, Nolan Galbreath and Trent Galbreath; and his great grandchild Noah Hinson.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Grove Station Baptist Church Cemetery (640 Piedmont Hwy, Piedmont, SC 29673).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Pointe Church, 8649 Augusta Rd. Ste. D, Pelzer, SC 29669.
