She was predeceased by: her husband David Harold George; her parents, Frank Benjamin and Audrey Elizabeth Bray Williams; her daughter Lisa Whiten; and her sisters, Margaret Pack, Shirley Black, Betsy Galloway and Frances Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Goodwin (Jeff) and Chris Whiten (Wanda); her granddaughters, Haley and Katie Whiten; and her sister Sue Childress.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
