He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen Jameson Covington; his sons, Keith Covington, Robert Covington (Julia) and Charles Covington (Dixie); his stepchildren, Paul Urich (Megan) and Leigh Tully (Trevor); his grandchildren, George, Adam, Abby, Molly, Luke Covington, Dowlen Waldrop, Phin, Pate Covington, Bray and Keegan Tully; his siblings, John Covington (Judy), Cairen Withington (Chuck), Sallie Chester (Jim) and Michael Covington (Angela); and his sister-in-law Jean Covington.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Easley Presbyterian Church (200 S 1st St, Easley, SC 29640). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
