He is survived by: his son Dr. John "Jay" A. Traynham (Beth) of Charleston; and his stepchildren, Ryan Cape of Piedmont, Brandon Cape (Kelly) of Liberty and Courtney T. Cape (Billy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
