He was predeceased by: his parents, Brant Strickland and Willie Phillips Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Harriett Strickland; his sons, Daniel Strickland (Tiffany) and Matthew Strickland (PJ); his grandchildren, Brentley Strickland, Jace Strickland and Destiny Cox; and his brother Dwight Strickland (Sharon).
