Romulus Oren Gray Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Romulus Oren Gray of Piedmont, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Romulus Ralph Gray and Eldora Wisenbaker Gray; his daughter Rhonda Marie Gray; and his brother Donnie Ray Gray. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Winser Gray; his sons, Rodney E. Gray (Gail) and Jeffery R. Gray (Alana); his grandchildren, Carli McNamara (John), Cameron Brooks, Logan Gray-Snyder (Matthew), Alexander Gray, Adam Gray, Morgan Gray, Mallory Gray, Cole Holliday and Luke Holliday; his great grandchildren, John Carter McNamara and Coleman McNamara; and his children-in-law, Bobby Brooks and Deborah Graham.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Southeast Chapel (1604 NE Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Rehoboth Baptist Church (1619 Old Pelzer Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
