He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Broadus and Mary Evon Canup Burgess. He is survived by: his children, Tara Burgess, Ben and Jesse Burgess; his sisters, Debra Kelley (Daniel) and Kathy Khezrenejat; and his grandchildren, Tecoa, Payton, Russell, Taylor, Pressley and Wyatt Burgess.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Gray Mortuary (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669).
