We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2024, at the age of 85, Sylvia Brown of Piedmont, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Rev. W. Alton Brown; her parents, Jacob Rosell and Lavonia Smith Dill; and her brothers, John Lee Dill and Jacob Benny Dill.

She is survived by : her children, Stephen Alton Brown (Susan) of Simpsonville and Susan Lee Brown of Knoxville, TN; and her siblings, Nancy Dill Batson of Taylors, Deborah Dill Nichols (Terry) of Piedmont and Maxie Dill (Frankie) of Greenville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Memorial Gardens (3302 US-25, Greenwood, SC 29648).
