Though Rosalie Miley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rosalie Miley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gathers and Emily Gathers. She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Dunham (Gregory) and Lula Mae Smalls (late George); her siblings, James Gathers (late Cecile) and Rebecca Simmons (late Frank); and her daughter-in-law Hannah Simmons.
A wake will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hickory Hill Baptist Church (322 Mac's Landing Rd, Pineville, SC 29468). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Homegoing Celebration Service (322 Mac's Landing Rd, Pineville, SC 29468). Please adhere to all COVID-19 precautions and guidelines when visiting the family and funeral home. Masks are recommended but not required.
