We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2023, at the age of 77, Willie Mitchell Jr. of Pineville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Mitchell and Lucinda Ravenell; and his spouse Shirley Jefferson Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Darryl Mitchell (Tammy) of Waldorf, MD, Anthony Mitchell (Clarissa) of Snellville, GA, Nicole Mitchell of Columbia, SC, Harvey Mitchell (Shakira) of Frisco, TX and Nathan L. Mazyck of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; his siblings, Dorothy Mae Ravenell of Pineville, SC, Abraham Mitchell of Goose Creek, SC and Richard Mitchell of Philadelphia, PA; his brothers-in-law, Harold Jefferson (Dyanna) of Ladson, SC and Bernard Jefferson (Marie) of Cross, SC; his nephew Timothy Smallwood of Columbia, SC; and his close friend Patricia G. Parker of Summerville, SC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
