It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harden Lewis Jr. of Pinewood, South Carolina, born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Harden Lewis, Sr.. He is survived by : his mother Ruth Brown Lewis; his siblings, Michelle Morris (Jimmy) of MaComb Township, Pamela Lewis of Sumter, SC and Patrick Lewis (Barbara) of Spring Lake, NC; his father-in-law George L. Madison of Pinewood, SC; his aunts, Annette Wright of Newport News, VA and Alberta McGuire of Springfield Garden, NY; his uncle Willie Brown (Mary) of Orlando, FLA; his siblings-in-law, Susie White (Edward) of Columbia, SC, Loretta Madison of Pinewood, SC, Barbara J. Madison of New York City, NY, William Shannon (Aletha), Leroy Madison (Maxine) of Pinewood, SC and Louis Madison (Christine) of Sumter, SC; and his cousins, Wayne Lewis and Edith Lewis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home of his mother, 4326 Rosewood Drive, Sumter, SC.
