She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Jefferson Hazelwood and Elsie Jean Sloan Hazelwood; her husband Claude DeLynn "Lynn" Hyman, Sr.; her son Claude DeLynn "De" Hyman, Jr.; and her siblings, Jacqueline "Jackie" Gail Asaro and Charles Kenneth Hazelwood.
She is survived by: her daughter Wendi Jean Hyman of Pinopolis; her grandchildren, Tyler Hyman (Kaylee) of Gaston, SC, Kris Hyman (Kalyn) of Aiken, SC and Caleigh Sottile of Ridgeland, SC; and her daughter-in-law Trish Martin Sottile. She is also survived by one great-grandchild expected soon; several cousins; three nieces; two nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in Billie Jean's memory to the Berkeley Animal Center, 101 Dundalk Court, Goose Creek, SC 29445, or to The American Lung Association of South Carolina, 1964 Ashley River Road, Suite B, Charleston, SC 29416.
