He was predeceased by: his parents, Winton Vance Roberts and Bertie Bell Roberts; and his brothers, Carl E. Bell and Robert L. Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Swords Roberts; his sons, Michael Gary Roberts of Charleston and Steven Christopher Roberts (Holly) of Pinopolis; and his grandchildren, Addisyn Kate Roberts and Jackson Grady Roberts.
