We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2022, at the age of 92, Ethel C. Rawls of Pomaria, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby H. Rawls of Pomaria; her parents, Robert Arthur and Ida Wicker Cromer; her granddaughter Terri Ruff; her granddaughter-in-law Lauri M. Ruff; her sons-in-law, Larry D. Stewart and A. Powell Ruff; and her brothers, Walter Cromer, Thomas Cromer, Hagood Cromer and Otto Cromer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara R. Ruff of Newberry, Judy R. Long (James) of Pomaria and Vickie S. Clanton (Mike) of Pomaria; her sisters-in-law, Ella Margaret Rawls of Pomaria and Gay A. Rawls of Prosperity; her grandchildren, Brad Ruff, Tammy Morris (Chad), Greg Stewart (Tara), Sherri Ruff (William Griffin), Wendy Shealy (Kevin), Jason Ruff and Robbie Stewart; her great grandchildren, Morgan Folta, Brianna Stewart, Lauren Ruff, Sam Morris, Morgan Shealy, Amanda Morris, Emily Ruff, Jennifer Shealy, Bailey Stewart, Peyton Ruff and Lee Wessinger; and her great great grandchildren, Raelynn Wessinger, Jocilynn Ruff, Jaxon Wessinger, Skyelan Duncan and Lyric McCormick.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.

The Rawls were special friends to my whole family. MS. ETHEL had several brothers in the service at the same time, thus impacted our whole 34 Hwy community.
