She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ralph and Ruby Margaret Caldwell Wicker. She is survived by: her husband Gary Lavan Monie, Sr.; her children, Margaret Inez "Meg" Womack (Vernon) of Hendersonville, TN, Joy Deanna Wargo (Todd) of Pomaria and Gary Lavan Monie, Jr. (Darlene) of Pomaria; her sisters, Irene W. Welch (Ed) of Sebring, FL and Grace W. Holliman (Bill) of West Columbia; her grandchildren, Bethany Federico Thapa (Sushant) of Lynchburg, VA, Zachary Federico of Arlington, VA, Ryan Monie of Pomaria and Journee Ballenger of Pomaria; her great grandchild Freyja Ballenger; and her adoptive son Matthew Edward Monie.
