He is survived by: his wife Peggy Reese Longshore; his children, Melissa Humphries (Stan) and Eric Dean Longshore; his stepsons, Kevin Sanders (Susan) and Todd Sanders (Lisa); his grandchildren, Bailey Humphries, Delaney Humphries and Sullivan Longshore; his stepgrandchildren, Amber Bobo (Tony), Amanda Brewer (Adam), Adam Hudgens (Kendyl), Courtney Sanders, Reese Sanders and Konnor Sanders (Brittney); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Elijah Brewer (Sara), Malakye Brewer, Benjamin Bobo, Randi Hudgens, Saylor Hudgens and Tucker Sanders; and his great great grandchild Paxton Brewer.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home (1724 Main St, Newberry, SC 29108). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel (1724 Main St, Newberry, SC 29108).
