He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde "Did" Koon and Ruth Richardson Koon; his sister Brenda Long; and his brothers-in-law, George Long and James Wicker.
He is survived by: his daughter Paula L. Richardson of Los Angeles; his sisters-in-law, Jimmie Ruff and Mildred Wicker; his nephews, Tarry Long (Melinda), Tommy Long (Lisa) and Keith Wicker (Melinda); his niece Trudy Davis (Todd); and his caregiver Paul Whitener.
