He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Maxie Lever and Gladys Millender Lever; his wife Sondra Baggott Lever; and his siblings, Lawrence Lever and Lois Wilson.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy Long (Dean) of Pomaria, Cheryl Sease of Newberry and Todd Lever (Lynnette) of Pomaria; his grandchildren, Joni Deloach, Crystal Sease, Susan Long, Nikki Grey, Will Lever (Tristan) and Shelby Bowers (Preston); his great grandchildren, Caroline Wise (Alex), Levi Wessinger, Ryan Wessinger, River William Lever, Chandler Lever, Sutton Lever, Brilynn Bowers, Cory Sease, Christopher Bennett and Breanna Bennett; and his great great grandchildren, Waylon Wise and Brantley Wessinger.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Enoree Baptist Church (14080 US-176, Newberry, SC 29108).
