He was predeceased by : his parents, James Elmer Boozer and Ruth Frick Boozer; his son Eric Boozer; and his sister Dianne Corley. He is survived by : his wife Alice Shealy Boozer; his son Jamie Boozer of Prosperity; his grandchildren, Ryan Boozer and Mason Boozer; and his sister Linda Corley.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery (80 State Rd S-36-126, Prosperity, SC 29127).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or a charity of one's choice.
