Carol leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Carol’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Carol will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charlene Byrd Alewine and Edgar Wesley Alewine; her siblings, Edgar Alewine Jr. (Dawn), Karl Alewine (Debbie), Angela Rish and Charles Edward Alewine; her significant other Erik Amick; and her sons, Alan and Alex Dula.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dreher Island State Park (3677 State Park Rd, Prosperity, SC 29127).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Final Victory Animal Rescue, an organization close to Carol's heart.
