He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril E. "Dutz" Shealy and Rosene Alewine Shealy; and his former wife Barbara Epting Shealy. He is survived by: his daughters, Terrie Mayer (Johnny) of Pomaria, Melissa Wooldridge (Todd) of Byhalia, MS and Christy Riopelle of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Jillyn Maffett (Jarrett) of Lexington, Chase Hamm of Prosperity, Cade Hamm (Emily) of Prosperity, Cassidy Hannah (Grayson) of Nashville, TN, Elvis Riopelle of Atlanta, GA and Sher Riopelle of Atlanta, GA; and his great grandchildren, Catherine Hamm and Bo Luke Hannah.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church (2336 Mt Pilgrim Church Rd, Prosperity, SC 29127).
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church.
