With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Hendrix of Prosperity, South Carolina, who passed away on November 5, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Jimmie Hendrix and Barbara Ann Bouknight Hendrix of Prosperity; his wife Leighann Koon Hendrix; his children, Coty Ann Hendrix Weaver (Justin) of Whitmire, Kyle Saxon, Dustin Saxon (Brilah), Devin Saxon and Christopher Saxon (Lindsay); his brothers, Paul Hendrix (Kirsten) of Spartanburg and Mark Hendrix (Heather) of Trenton; his grandchildren, Lexi Minick (Chase), Ireland Hendrix, Phoenix Wever, Addison Weaver, Audrey Saxon, Jackson Saxon, Edward Saxon, Arthur Saxon, George Saxon and Roman Saxon; and his siblings' children, Drew Hendrix, Katerina Hendrix, Cameron Hendrix, Brooks Hendrix and Mary Claire Hendrix.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Prosperity First Baptist Church (115 Wessinger Dr, Prosperity, SC 29127). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
