He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Clark Hughes and Nina Mae Stamper; his wife Delores Ann Hughes; his daughter Joanna Sapp; his siblings, Debbie Taylor and Randall Hughes; his mother-in-law Palma Maudine Bishop; and his brother-in-law Larry Bishop.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Hughes (Mary), Clifford Hughes (Cherry) and Josh Hughes (April); his son-in-law Joel Sapp; his grandchildren, Timothy Sapp (Anna), Bethany Praylow (Chris), Brendae Hughes, Samantha Hughes, Christopher Hughes, Travis Grimsley (Mallory), Jessica Grimsley, Clay Hughes (Kaitlin), Casey Hughes (Eric), Amber Hughes and Skylar Hughes; his great grandchildren, Canaan, Cullen, Claire, Evelynn, Emberly, Malloree, Lyric, Bunny of Mikey, CJ, Chase, Mason, Isabella, Cassidie, Stephen, Carson and Brooklyn; his a son/friend Willie Mayes; and his sister Carolyn Regina Bishop of Roderfield.
