He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Ross and Frances Ruff George; and his siblings, Dorothy Mould and Ross George, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Kathry "Kay" Dawkins George; his children, John Ross George (Tricia Nichols) of Apex, NC and Jennifer Morris (Calvin) of Prosperity; and his grandchildren, Katie Ruth Morris, Jessica Layne Morris (Keenan Boland), Timothy John Nichols and Olivia Rose Nichols. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
