He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Levitt, Sr. and Ettie Price Levitt. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Evon Frierson Levitt; and his children, Wesley Levitt (Alison), Shawn Levitt (Sally), Heather Levitt-Sutton (Mike), Jennifer Haskins (Ernie), Jonathan Levitt (Tara), Samantha Longshore (Timothy), Naomi Swann (Lorenzo) and Zachary Levitt (Kylee). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc. (3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Charleston, SC 29414). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at the Live Oak Memorial Gardens (3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414).
