Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Hampton leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert "Took" Gardner and Sarah Chambers Gardner; and his wife Esther Waiters. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rafting Creek Baptist Church (3860 SC-261, Rembert, SC 29128).
