She was predeceased by: her parents, James Felton and Eula Mae Felton; her grandson Raymond Thomas; her adoptive son Lewis Sanders; and her siblings, Pearl, Roosevelt, Thomas, Mary, Margaret, Margie and Ella Mae.
She is survived by: her foster child Daytwon Bennette; and her husband Albert Lee Sanders, Sr. of Rembert. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and treasured friends.
From her heartbreak, Rosie gave birth to a vision of hope: The Day Day Safe Home Foundation —lovingly named in memory of the precious child who forever changed her life.
