It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louise Derrick of Ridge Spring, South Carolina, born in Batesburg, South Carolina, who passed away on July 27, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Talmadge and Maggie Ella Collum McGee; her husband Robert Wendel Derrick; her son Steven Derrick; and her sister Jessie Ruth Hallman.

She is survived by: her children, Bobby Derrick, Dean Derrick (Amy), Brian Derrick (Diedra) and Holly Derrick. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 140 Stoneridge Dr. #640, Columbia SC 29210.
