She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jones and Lottie Corder Jones; her husband Mark O'Neal Fox; her son Dwight O'Neal; her former husband John Albert Bearden; her children, Donna Rankin (Harry), Mark Alan Fox (Teresa) and Judy Brown; and her siblings, Elloree Shepard, Omar Jones, Ruth Morris and Lorenzo Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Tony Bearden (Lisa), Sandy Clark and David Bearden (Karen). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
