She was predeceased by: her parents, Mario Tornillo and Helen Platt Tornillo; and her husband Bernard Kennedy. She is survived by: her children, David Balla of Chipley, FL and Julia Taylor (Joseph) of Ridgeland; and her stepchildren, Brian Ortiz (Alex) of Bluffton, SC and Katrina Kennedy Light of Beaufort, SC. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
