He was predeceased by: his father William Pinckney; his former wife Beverley H. Pinckney; his daughter Teresa P. Vest; his grandson Adam Pinckney; and his son-in-law Timothy Gray.
He is survived by: his wife Burnette Pinckney; his children, Clay Pinckney, Dorothy P. Breden (Patrick), Tripp Daley (Faye), Cynthia P. Gray, Wilbur Daley (Debra) and Adlena Pinckney (Denise); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Guy, Alex, Heather, Claire, Beverley, Clay, Brandy, Michael, Cathryn, Ashleigh, Rebecca, Lexi, Lyndsey, Gene, Timothy and Brittany. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
