He is survived by: his wife Catherine Williams Bergen; his daughters, Nicole Smith (Josh) of Early Branch, SC and Morgan Funk (David) of Flagler Beach, FL; his sister Jeannette Kirkland; his brothers-in-law, Tommy Herndon of Prosperity, SC and Morris Williams (Mary Ellen) of Blackville, SC; and his granddaughters, Emma and Ava. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
