Though George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Mehrtens and George Edward Mehrtens of Valhalla, NY. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Joan Mehrtens; his daughters, Cathryn Mehrtens (Kim Frank) of Palm Springs, CA and Elizabeth Leeb (Scott) of Holmdel, NJ; his brother Allan Joseph Mehrtens of The Villages, FL; and his grandchildren, Hannah Emily Leeb, Gavin Clark Frank-Mehrtens, Claire Elise Frank-Mehrtens and Zoe Caitlyn Leeb.
