With sadness, we share the passing of Jim Cowart of Ridgeland, South Carolina. Jim, born on March 6, 1937, passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cowart and Beatrice Small Cowart; and his sister Faye Jennings. He is survived by: his wife Ann Cowart; his children, Lorrie Cowart Cortes and James Cowart (Beth Cowart); his sister Ann Farrar; and his grandchildren, Dr. Christina Cortes-Reda (Cody), Danielle Chamblee (Josh), TJ Cowart (Emily), Brooke Cortes and Katie Cowart. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, close friends and neighbors.
