He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard and Mavis; his wife Carol Ann Hale; his son Lawrence H. Hale II; his daughter-in-law Donna; his grandson Daniel Hale; his daughter Chrystie L. Turner; his son-in-law Patrick; his grandchildren, Logan and Brooke Turner; his sisters, Francine Cantero and Karen Hale; and his nephews, Adam Greene and Ben Lowe.
In lieu of flowers, he requests that donations be made to the United Way of the Lowcountry, in his honor.
