With sadness, we share the passing of McKenzie Elizabeth Heartley Binder of Ridgeland, South Carolina. McKenzie, born on February 14, 2012, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember McKenzie for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She is survived by: her parents, Eric Binder and Molly Binder of Ridgeland; her sister Phoebe Binder; and her grandmothers, Martha Reynolds of Bluffton and Mavis Keith of West Columbia. She is also survived by her extended family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in McKenzie's memory to Palmetto Animal League, in honor of her deep love for animals.
