It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael DelVecchio (Ridgeland, South Carolina), who passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Michael is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Leonard F. DelVecchio and Theodore Hesburgh. He is survived by: his brother Leonard DelVecchio of Stratford, CT; his niece Melissa DelVecchio (David Whiteman) of Southport, CT; and his nephew Rick DelVecchio (Fran DelVecchio) of Canaan, NH. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
