He is survived by: his son Shannon Smith (Amy); his siblings-in-law, Sandra Able Smith and James "Bunny" Smith; his grandchildren, Christopher Smith (Kennedy), Courtney Smith (Cody Bell), Cayleigh Smith (Cameron Gapin) and Corey Smith; and his great grandchildren, Walker Bell, Hallie Bell and Bindi Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vaigneur Funeral Home (6802 Tillman Rd, Ridgeland, SC 29936). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Grahamville Cemetery (3234 Smiths Xing, Ridgeland, SC 29936).
