We are sad to announce that, on February 15, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Pamela Jean Torborg (Ridgeland, South Carolina). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeanette Louise and John Paul Robinson; her brother John; her parents-in-law, Jack and Doris; and her brother-in-law John.
She is survived by: her husband Steve; her daughter Kate Ellen Torborg Vermilyea; her son-in-law Jody; her grandchildren, Zoe, Rosie and Jonah; her siblings, Debra Svardal and Michael Robinson (Judith Bakkensen); and her sister-in-law Rose Torborg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a few special friends.
Since Pam would rather we all gather to read our books quietly together, the family requests donations be made in her name to the Public Library Foundation of Beaufort County, 311 Scott Street, Beaufort, SC, 29902.
