She is survived by: her husband Louis E. Phelps, Sr. (Lou); her children, Brian Moates (Deana) and Tena Scott (Larry); her stepsons, Louis Phelps, Jr. (Janet) and Scott Phelps; and her siblings, Jerry Ivey, Ophelia Taylor, Shirley Deaver and Cathy McCanless (Walt).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Church (2000 Shutterlee Mill Rd, Staunton, VA 24401). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
