He was predeceased by: his parents, James Warren Nettles and Ruby May Price Nettles; his siblings, Jimmy Nettles, Susie Breland, Jean Anderson and Micheal Nettles; and his grandson Steven Fagan Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Kim Nettles; his children, Paul Nettles (Steven), Kristen Stanley (DeAndrae), Kaitlen Nettles and Jessica Nettles; and his brothers, Henry Nettles and Frankie Nettles (Deborah). He is also survived by five grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
