He was predeceased by: his parents, Lt. Colonel Thomas B. Faris and Evelyn Faris (Sugar); and his siblings, Frank C. Faris and Marianne Faris. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Bailey Faris, Brittany Locke, Ginny, Rosie and Delilah Novis; his sister Evelyn Mickle; his brother-in-law Charles Mickle; his niece Sherril Rawlinson (John); his former wife Elizabeth; his children, Thomas F. Faris (Cherri) and Sara Faris (Itan); and his great-nephews, William and Thomas Rawlinson (Kathy Collins). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
