He was predeceased by: his parents, James Roland Rhodes and Edith Phillips Rhodes; and his brothers, Jimmy Rhodes and Philip Rhodes. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Rhodes; his daughters, Leslie Rhodes Simmons (Donny) and Lindsay Rhodes Smith (Bryant); and his grandchildren, Peyton Simmons (Jamie), Olivia Sigman (Walker), Campbell Smith and Grayson Smith. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Ridgeland Baptist Church (1448 Grays Hwy, Ridgeland, SC 29936). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridgeland Cemetery (300 Ingram St, Ridgeland, SC 29936).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Red Cross or Ridgeland Baptist Church.
