It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dannie Lee Nelson of Ridgeville, South Carolina, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Nelson and Romaine Lucinda Pryor Nelson; and his aunts and uncles, Obediah Pryor (Standella), David Pryor, Leslie Spann, Arthur Pryor, Martha Lambright (Matthew), Anna Laura Kitt (Andrew), Lillie Bell Hart (Nathaniel) and Mary Magdalene White.
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Aiken, Gary Nelson (Felicia Gaddist) of Ridgeville, Ricky Nelson (Kawaii) of Summerville, Crystal Nelson of St. George, Terri Johnson of Goose Creek and Patrice Nelson of Charleston; his aunts, Carrina Aiken, Janet Pryor of Ridgeville, Lula Mae Williams (Wilton) and Georgia Bell Pryor of Summerville, SC; and his nieces and nephews, Ravon Nelson, Christopher Martino, Marquez Cobbs, Davon Vereen, Khalen Nelson, AJ Nelson, Rashawn Nelson, Jeron McCants Jr., Charisse Nelson, Kiersten Martino, Jada Crockett and Arianna McCants. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
