He was predeceased by : his parents, Leon Showers and Ethel Bunch; his wife Mary Bunch of Ridgeville; his son Meredith Bunch Jr. "Skip"; and his siblings, Jerry Bunch, Warren Bunch, Leon Bunch, Shirley Bunch, Juanita Gose, Leone Barthel and Charolette Morgan.

He is survived by : his grandson Mathew Bunch; and his sisters, Carol Carrington and Deloris Crozat. He is also survived by brother in law and many nieces and nephews.
