He is survived by: his children, Patrick Fairbank and Mary Fairbank Adams; his siblings, Betty Francis of Summerville, Eleanor Moore (Ernest) of Summerville, Janice Crosby of Columbia, Tanya McCants of Summerville, James McCants (Sharon) of Tampa, Ricardo McCants (Betty) of Summerville, Dana McCants of Ridgeville and Joseph McCants (Julia) of Ridgeville; his sisters-in-law, Lisa Moses and Wanda Cooper of Dawson, Georgia; and his aunts, Louvenia McCants of Summerville, Margaret Jeffers of Sumpter and Redella McCants of Illinois.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown and Son Funeral Home (5901 W Jim Bilton Blvd, St George, SC 29477). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Bethel AME Church (165 S Railroad Ave, Ridgeville, SC 29472).
