It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alexandra M Medlin of Ridgeway, South Carolina, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on June 29, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Virginia Showalter McGrath; and her brother Stephen Valens McGrath. She is survived by : her children, Teresa "Terry" Medlin Ferrell (Stuart) and Burley "Mac" Macfarlane Medlin, Jr. (Maureen); her grandchildren, Caroline Branchal (Dan), Lane Medlin (Madison), Kristen Conigliaro (Anthony), Will Ferrell (Jenn) and Lee Brown (Boyd); and her great grandchildren, Luke, Claire, Emma Branchal, Charlie, Burley IV Medlin, David Brown, Eloise Ferrell and James Conigliaro.

The family requests memorials be made to Harvest Hope Food Bank, PO Box 451, Columbia, SC 29202 or the American Red Cross – Central SC Chapter, 2751 Bull Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
